Welcome to the Hilldale Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 17, 2022 at noon, Wreaths Across America will be at Hilldale Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you. Directions to Cemetery
From Rt 495 North. Exit 50 onto Rt 97. At the light at the end of the ramp, proceed straight across onto Monument Street. At the first 4 way stop, proceed straight again to stay on Monument Street. Will pass Haverhill High School on your right. At the end of monument street at the flashing light, go right on to Hilldale Avenue. The cemetery is 1/2 mile down on the left side.

At the end of monument street at the flashing light, go right on to Hilldale Avenue. The cemetery is 1/2 mile down on the left side.
Parking: Parking is available on both sides of the street in front of the cemetery. For handicapped parking, please see a volunteer at the gates. Access to handicapped parking will be through the adjacent city cemetery. Please note that this parking option does still require some walking over mildly uneven terrain, but it eliminates the need for traversing the hill up to Soldier's monument. If you require assistance, please notify a volunteer. The Haverhill High School Marine Jr ROTC will be assisting those in need of help.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Hilldale Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
- Please note, masks are required for the event.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
