The John Alexander Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is committed to serving veterans both here at home in Northern Virginia and across the country.

This year, we are sponsoring wreaths at three national cemeteries where our chapter members have personal ties - Alexandria National Cemetery, Quantico National Cemetery, and Tahoma National Cemetery.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.  

Parking Instructions

Parking on WIlkes Street in front of the cemetery is reserved for handicapped and speakers.  We advise attendees to park on S Payne Street.  There should also be parking available in the Bethel Cemetery, but the road is one-way, one-lane which will make it difficult to depart.

Alexandria National Cemetery will hold a public ceremony in recognition of the seven Ceremonial wreaths Honoring the military branches and POW/MIA at the front gate of Alexandria National Cemetery at 9:30 AM, 19 December 2026..
