Welcome to the Camp Lewis Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 at 09:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Camp Lewis Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through by laying Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and through saying the names of each and every veteran aloud.

We welcome everyone help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

For everyone attending the ceremony, event parking is just outside the Camp Lewis Cemetery Gates. There is a short walk from the parking lot to the cemetery, please give yourself time to get there before the ceremony starts at 0900. Additionally, only service animals are permitted on the grounds. If you have family and friends that wish to attend the ceremony, you can use the JBLM Visitor Center to acquire a visitor pass. Lastly, please be prepared for cold temperatures and precipitation.

I-5, Exit 120 Joint Base Lewis McChord Main Gate, Visitor Center, 41st  Division Drive, follow 41st Division Drive.  Remain on 41st Division Drive and continue South on Railroad Avenue and Cemetery Road, at the end of Cemetery Road park on the immediate left large parking lot at the intersection of 2nd Division Range Road and Railroad Avenue.

Parking Instructions

Available parking is in the large parking lot prior to the cemetery entrance at the intersection of 2nd Division Range Road and Railroad Avenue. Handicap parking is available at the main entrance of the cemetery, with a handicapped parking placard, see an entrance volunteer for assistance upon arrival.  Carpooling is encouraged.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Camp Lewis Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
