Bill passed away at home January 17, 2025 from a heart attack. He was 75. Married to Linda for 55 years. He had a successful career working in the automotive industry from 1967 - 2016. Immediate survivors include: daughter & son-in-law; Leigh & Clay Paulk, Ocoee, FL.
On December 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm, Otis (Bill) W. Laughlin III will be helping Sarasota National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery
I 75 to Exit #205 (Clark Road/State Rd 72). East on SR 72 4.7 miles to the Main Cemetery Entrance. You will need to show your VEHICLE PASS at check in.
Follow Local Law Enforcement, VA Police and Mission Army Staff instructions and signs for entering and exiting the cemetery. ALL TRAFFIC is ONE WAY FLOW, exiting out the East (Maintenance) Entrance.
Parking Instructions
There is limited parking available on cemetery grounds. Vehicle Passes are a mandatory requirement, All Drivers must register for a vehicle pass through the Volunteer Button. Do NOT register passengers for a vehicle pass.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
Carpooling required.
