Volunteers across the state of Ohio are working in support of national nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) as they prepare for National Wreaths Across America Day – this year on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
All locations registered to participate in National Wreaths Across America Day will take part in this national event that
endeavors to honor every interred American veteran with a live, balsam veteran’s wreath. In 2021, 2.4 million veterans’ wreaths were placed in total across the country at 3,137 participating locations. More than two million volunteers helped place wreaths, a third of whom were children. Local volunteer groups and individuals give back to your community and help to share the year-round mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and their families, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.
To view the full list of participating locations and sponsorship groups in Ohio and learn more about how you can help reach the goals in each community, click Locations in the top right corner of this page to find and visit each participating location's WAA webpage. From there, you can learn about the different sponsorship groups supporting each one.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths and/or inviting your family and friends to attend the ceremony at the participating location of your choosing.
Thank you so much for supporting Wreaths Across America and our mission to REMEMBER, HONOR, and TEACH!
