Welcome to the Alexandria National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 09:30 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Alexandria National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Grave-Specific wreath placements will begin at 9:00 AM.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Wreaths Across America Presents Annual REMEMBER Award to Robert “Bob” Freeman of North Carolina

On Monday, June 23, national nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) recognized Robert “Bob” Freeman of Gastonia, North Carolina, as the ninth recipient of the organization’s REMEMBER Award. This award is given annually to an individual or group who Remembers the fallen and their sacrifice in a way that goes above and beyond.

From Coast-to-Coast Patriots are Remembered and Honored

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Alexandria National Cemetery. 

Alexandria National Cemetery will hold a private ceremony in recognition of the 7 Ceremonial wreaths Honoring the military branches and POW/MIA. 

This ceremony will not be open to the public.
