REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom and Service.
Welcome to the Gresham VFW Auxiliary Post 180's Wreaths Across America Page.
On National Wreath Day December 17th, 2022, the Gresham VFW Auxiliary will again be helping Willamette National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our local veterans by laying wreaths of Remembrance on the graves of Oregon's fallen heroes. In 2021, our Auxiliary collected 190 wreath sponsorships and helped to lay part of the 4,500 wreaths placed at Willamette that year. Those wreaths represent less than 2.5% of the veteran graves currently present at Willamette National Cemetery. WE CAN DO BETTER IN 2022!. OUR FALLEN VETERANS DESERVE OUR RESPECT.
VFW Auxiliary members are the spouses, siblings and family members of veterans. We understand the importance of remembering and honoring the service of veterans who came before us and the sacrifices made by those who serve now and those of their families. Because we feel such a deep respect for our veterans, our organization has chosen to place special focus on Grave Specific wreath sponsorships. The Auxiliary is here to help the people of our community to honor and remember their special veteran family members and friends who are no longer with them each holiday season.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreath Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting the Gresham VFW Auxiliary and Wreaths Across America!
