Welcome to the Heber City Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On Saturday 13 December 2025 at 10am, Wreaths Across America will be at the Heber City Cemetery (680 North 550 East, Heber City UT 84032) to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. Due to our efforts in 2024, we discovered dozens more veterans are buried or memorialized than originally calculated. In 2024, we had 400 wreaths and as of April 2025, we are at 550 (with potentially more to be discovered).
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.
The Wasatch High School Air Force Junior ROTC cadets help organize this event since Dec 2024. The ceremony will start at 10am with a Color Guard, National Anthem, Invocation, symbolic wreath laying for each service and the playing of Taps. Following the ceremony, please join us in ensuring every wreath is placed.

Directions to Cemetery
Heber City Cemetery is located at 680 N 550 E, Heber City, Utah. Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please enter at the northern most entrance and park off the road. The ceremony will take place at the main flag pole, which is next to the maintenance building (North side of the cemetery).
Parking Instructions
There is plenty of parking at this cemetery. If the area at the north gate, east of the flag pole is full, feel free to park outside the gate or on one of the other cemetery roads. Please do not block the flag pole area where the ceremony will take place. Please ensure people who are visiting the cemetery can drive around your vehicle if you park on any of the cemetery roads. You can also park on the main street and walk up to the ceremony, it is only about 100 feet.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at the Heber City Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome. Be mindful of the weather and dress accordingly. There is a good chance that paths to the gravesites will be snow or ice covered (we attempt to clean off the headstones the week of the ceremony).
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinator's instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed. There will be a flyer on the table to help.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up. We will need the boxes collected for recycling.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
