In Memory Of for Duward Edward Cashion, United States Military, Honored by Quaker Cemetery

Remembering my Daddy, Duward Edward Cashion, a proud World War II veteran. He was not one to speak much of the battles he fought or the hardships he endured, but the quiet strength he carried with him throughout his life spoke volumes about the kind of man he was.Like so many of his generation, my father answered the call when his country needed him, leaving behind everything he knew to face the unimaginable. He served with honor, courage, and a sense of duty that never wavered, even in the most difficult times. His stories were not always told in words, but in the way he lived his life—with humility, integrity, and a deep sense of respect for the sacrifices made by others. He loved his country, his family and God. I am forever grateful for his sacrifice and the example he set. He was truly a part of the Greatest Generation!
