Riverton City is proud to sponsor the Wreaths Across America program at Riverton City Cemetery to honor veterans buried there. Each year, wreaths sponsored by community members are laid at the graves of veterans prior to Christmas on Wreaths Across America Day following a special ceremony. The ceremony happens simultaneously with other ceremonies at participating cemeteries across the country. It is our goal to have a wreath for EVERY veteran buried in the cemetery. Please consider sponsoring a wreath to honor a veteran.

All Veterans
There isn't anything I could give that would amount to the sacrifice that a veteran gives in service to their country. Thank you for your service, our country is a better place because of you and your service.

In Memory Of for All Service Members, United States Military, Honored by Riverton City Cemetery
Donated by someone who cared about the sacrifice made by their grandparents, their parents, their aunts, their uncles, and more importantly, their children. My kids served -proudly- and continue to echo “Remember your oath” to the freedoms that should be afforded to all and not *the* select. YOU can openly pray and speak because they (insert any/all service members) protected/sacrificed your right to worship or voice your opinion, even if they are atheist, nonbinary, leftist, love nature, support choice, etc. Be the change.
