Welcome to the NY0296P - AmeriCorps Seniors Advisory Council, Steuben County, NY's Wreaths Across America Page. This page is overseen by the AmeriCorps Seniors Advisory Council, supporting AmeriCorps Seniors initiatives serving Steuben County, NY. As a program dedicated to engaging older adults in volunteer service and focusing on veterans and military families, we are happy to encourage our community to participate in this event.

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, NY0296P - AmeriCorps Seniors Advisory Council, Steuben County, NY will be helping Bath National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery located at the Bath Veterans Administration at 1 San Juan Avenue, Bath, NY 14810. Take exit 38 if traveling on Interstate I-86. Follow the signs to the Bath VA. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking around the Bath VA, so feel free to park in any available spot. Vehicles are not permitted to go into the cemetery. Shuttles will be available for anyone unable to walk up the hill to the ceremony location.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at the Bath National Cemetery.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators' instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America to achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
