REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Hudson, NH Cemeteries Wreaths Across America Page.

Our Town has six Historic Cemeteries where veterans from the Militia, the Indian Wars, the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War are buried. Two private cemeteries are the final resting place for veterans of later wars. The Wreaths Across America Hudson, NH Cemeteries Wreath Day Ceremony will be held on December 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at the the Alvirne High School, 200 Derry Road, when we will Remember and Honor our veterans and their families. Following the ceremony, registered volunteers will start at noon to continue to honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes at eight cemeteries in our Town.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Please note that we currently have enough volunteers to place wreaths, but you can honor veterans on Wreath Day by attending our Wreath Day Ceremony or sponsoring a wreath(s). If you've previously placed wreaths in our cemeteries, and are on our distribution list at jvmadden23w@comcast.net, you do not need to register again. If you are interested in other ways to help with our effort, please contact us at the above email address.

Thank you so much for supporting Hudson, NH Cemeteries and Wreaths Across America!

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America activities on December 19, 2026 at Hudson, NH Area Cemeteries. We have eight cemeteries participating in Hudson. Our Wreath Day Ceremony will take place at 11 AM at the Alvirne High School 200 Derry Road. After the ceremony, registered volunteers will have plenty of time to drive to one of our nearby cemeteries where we'll be laying wreaths. If you'd like to be a registered volunteer to place wreaths at one of these cemeteries, please send an email to: jvmadden23w@comcast.net.  That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself. Be advised that we currently have more volunteers than we have Veterans' graves to honor, but we would like to increase participation in our Wreath Day Ceremony. Please join us!

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • The ceremony lasts approximately one half hour and will be held in the gymnasium and there will be seating.
  • Plenty of parking in the school parking lot adjacent to the building.
