Welcome to Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Day Page.
On December 14, 2024 at 09:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following The Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans. In the Rostrum behind the main gates on the east side of the cemetery, we will be conducting our formal ceremonial opening event. Please park on the west side interior road and walk back to the Rostrum.
Also at 9:00 am on the east side of the cemetery, we will be laying Remembrance wreaths at the graves of our country's fallen heroes. This is a challenging location to drive to so be patient as you make your way there and follow the directions of the traffic management volunteers. Please help ensure that ALL participants that follow you will get the opportunity to place a wreath. There is a VERY LIMITED number of wreaths based on the ratio of participants to wreaths sponsored. Please remember we are NOT just laying wreaths at head stones. We are HONORING the fallen.
Once at the grave site, take the white tag from the back of the wreath. Write the name of the veteran onto the tag and then take the white tag home with you.
Please help our location honor as many veterans as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor Wreaths" button. If you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to sponsor wreaths and join you.
Thank you so much for supporting Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and National Wreaths Across America Day!

We are happy that you are willing to help with our National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get updates about the cemetery.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Please help ensure that ALL participants get the opportunity to place a wreath. There is a VERY LIMITED number of wreaths for the large number of people who want to participate. Ask your employer to sponsor wreaths.
- Remember we are NOT here to just place wreaths at head stones. We are honoring the fallen.
- At the grave site, take the white tag from the back of the wreath. Write the name of the veteran onto the tag and then take the white tag home with you.
- Place the wreath (with red ribbon positioned on top) in front of the head stone, stand up and SALUTE, SAY the name of the veteran out loud and THANK that veteran for their service.
- We especially appreciate volunteers' willingness to help clean-up wreaths on January 4th at 8:00AM. Check in with the location coordinator or just show up at 8:00 AM.
One important thing to remember is to have a positive attitude and a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony. Thank you for helping Wreaths Across America achieve our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.
