Welcome to the Georgia National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

Wreath placement will start on  December 19, 2026 at 09:00. A memorial service will immediately follow at approximately 10:15.  Wreaths Across America will be at Georgia National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please note, the Wreath Laying Event on Friday, December 18, 2026, at 3:30 PM is reserved for Family members to place their loved ones' wreaths.  

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

There is very limited parking at this cemetery.  Remote parking with shuttle busses will be at Sutallee Baptist Church, 895 Knox Bridge Hwy, White, GA 30184.  Approximately 5 miles West of the entrance to the cemetery. 

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Georgia National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer, visit our website www.gncac.org, or Facebook page www.facebook.com/GaNational to receive all updates.


Truck Offload. Thursday, Dec.17, 2026; 3:00p meet at committal shelter #1

Family Day. Friday, Dec. 18th;  3:30 - dusk. Please respect those families having service that day and do not come early. Families of those interned are invited to place a single wreath on their loved ones site.  We will have volunteers and wreaths in all sections.

Saturday, December 19, 2026 (Wreath Placement 9:00 AM)  Wreath Placement will begin at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony will begin after all the wreaths have been placed.  Approximately 10:15

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
