I was proud to call him "Dad" and always was willing to help me with my algebra! He had a nice sense of humor and he loved his family. He could look at a piece of furniture and either make it from scratch or redesign it to be more useful. He could fix anything, and loved building things from a bird house to adding a full dormer on his house all by himself. He took great joy in his two grandchildren. He loved traveling, especially his cross country trip across America. Robert Fredrikson, E-4 was in Pearle Harbor when hit by Japan. He evaded these attacks, got aboard his ship only to be bombed soon after his escape from the blasting of Pearl Harbour. Robert Fredrickson was my uncle, and he was a great, clean and Christian man. Robert perished at age 18.
