REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the WV0005 - George Washington Chapter SAR's Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, WV0005 - George Washington Chapter SAR will be helping National Cemetery of the Alleghenies to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

For every two wreaths that you sponsor through our group, Wreaths Across America will provide a third wreath at no charge.

Thank you so much for supporting the WV0005 - George Washington Chapter SAR and Wreaths Across America!

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Please join us for our wreath laying ceremony on Saturday December 14, 2024. Ceremony begins at noon with wreath laying to follow.

Each year, approximately 2,000 new veterans are laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Therefore, the need for wreaths is always growing. Each handmade, fresh, live wreath is made in the United States with Maine balsam. The cost to sponsor one wreath is $17. We are grateful for any amount of generosity you can offer and are appreciative of your time for consideration.
On behalf of Wreaths Across America, the volunteers, and families of those laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, we thank you for your support.
