REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the TX1281P - John Davis Chapter, NSDAR's Wreaths Across America Page. We join hundreds of other National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) chapters throughout the United States in being steadfast supporters of WAA. The John Davis Chapter intends to saturate the Big Country in 2025 with information about WAA and respectfully ask community members to consider sponsoring a wreath(s).
Our focus in 2025 will be to recognize the many veterans buried at the Cedar Hill Section of the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. The veterans area has 167 souls buried there who served our country, some sacrificing their lives while serving. If you have a family member who served in our armed forces who is buried there, please contact us. We would love to hear their story and share it throughout our social media platforms.
Help us honor and remember as many veterans as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting the TX1281P - John Davis Chapter, NSDAR and Wreaths Across America!
