Dr. (Col) Syd Krampitz had a long, amazing career that focused on serving others. She was a super-star, graduating with a Doctorate in Philosophy (Nursing History) from the University of Chicago. She quickly rose in the ranks and became the Dean of the School of Nursing at Reno Nevada, as well as the University of Kansas. As a Colonel in the USAF Reserves, she was the Commander of the Aeromedical Evacuation Unit at Richards-Gebaur AFB and taught nurses and technicians at Sheppard AFB. She is greatly missed, but we know she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
