Thomas Nash, Army, Private

Dear GGF - Thank you for your service to the country 250 years ago. You answered the call on April 19, 1775 and marched to Lexington, MA. You re-enlisted numerous times to fight at Dorchester Heights, MA, and Bennington, VT, and then you were unceremoniously listed as "dead" in June or July 1778. Perhaps you died of illness at Valley Forge, or along the road to Monmouth. The daughters you left behind survived and their descendants are doing very well. Thomas and Eunice Stetson Nash of Scituate, MA.
