2024 So Far
8,305 Wreaths Sponsored 18.5% to Goal 36,695 To Go!
REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 0900 we will be removing and recycling the wreaths placed on our Heroes' graves. Volunteers wishing to help need to dress according to the weather. We will meet at the memorial at 0845 for a short briefing before getting started. Remember to bring a pair or 2 of gloves to help keep your hands warm and clean. To help move the wreaths from the grave sites to the road's edge, you may use snow shovels, brooms, broom handles for 2-man carry, plastic sleds, tarps, etc. (as long as your mode of transport of the wreaths does NOT leave imprints in the grass).
If you have and are able to bring a low bodied dump truck or a dump trailer, that will be greatly appreciated. If you are bringing a dump trailer, the trailer should be attached to a 4-wheel drive vehicle as it tends to get very muddy at the dump site.
****PARKING****
Parking for wreath clean-up will be at the parking lot across from Columbariums A & B. We would like all volunteers removing wreaths to park here so that we keep the roads clear for the trucks and trailers. Some of these drivers may not be as experienced as others. We just want to prevent any issues from arising. Dump trucks and trucks with dump trailers should line up behind Toyman's truck located at section 39. Drivers, please make sure you see Toyman and give him your information.

Wreath Sponsorship
Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA 17003, United States (PAIGNA) |17107|
Did you know that Wreaths Across America now offers recurring sponsorships? You can select the occurrence and cancel or pause anytime! Register now by completing this form! (https://tinyurl.com/n735zrbr)
What does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you are supporting a yearlong mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Your sponsorship will support the new and existing programs developed to share the mission. And, it will place a wreath to honor an American hero at one of more than 4,400 participating locations this year on National Wreaths Across America Day – a day set aside to lay gathers as Americans with the same goal.
We can’t do that without your support, though. Your sponsorship will ensure that a wreath is hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow here in Columbia Falls, Maine. It will then be sent to one of our participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on the marker of a hero. That volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service and sacrifice is never forgotten.
So, what does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to those who stepped up to serve.
*Please Note: Specific locations designated as "ceremonial-only" accept a limited number of sponsorships. Any additional sponsorships received beyond those used for the ceremony will be distributed to other locations.
