He’s a cancer survivor, had multiple major heart surgeries and when millions of people died from Covid.. he survived… I don’t think there is anything he hasn’t done. I think that’s what makes his life so successful. He’s seen joy, he’s seen sadness…he’s seen life. Popi you are missed more than words can say. I Love and Miss you so very very very much! You are the Love of my Life and were the Glue and Backbone of our Family who definitely never wavered having my back supporting me totally during my 20-year USAF career! That included raising a family whereby you thought of others, especially after we lost Timothy as a stillborn baby and James as a miscarriage. Afterwards, the strength you showed me and Chris is beyond words, and because of the enormous size of your heart, we became Foster Parents that turned into Adoptive Parents when we adopted Tony and Tommy. Pat, you did all that because you thought of others and their needs lovingly. I believe I know God Jesus put you here on earth as an Angel to show me, Chris, Jeanne, JJ, Tony, Priscilla, Tommy, and Dollie how to Love and take care of each another and others. You definitely were a Diamond Needle in the haystack for sure! Also, you are the most strong loving and courageous compassionate non-complaining selfless person that I've ever known who faced your challenges of Polycystic Kidney and Parkinson's Diseases so bravely. And, when the B-Cell High Grade Lymphoma Cancer showed up very very very fast and very very very aggressive, you again, showed me and Chris, Jeanne, JJ, Tony, Priscilla, and Tommy how to handle it with Love, Grace, Wisdom, and Faith without ever complaining. When, you yelled out to me “I Love You,” a few days before having to hospitalize you, it showed me your deep Love for me, and us, that I will never ever ever ever forget! Furthermore, when Dialysis had to be stopped, I asked the Doctor if further Dialysis would cause a drag on you. He responded saying it would cause you congestive heart failure, which saddened me greatly because I didn’t want you to be in pain anymore.
