2025 So Far
REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the NY0283 - Salute to Fallen Veterans: A Girl Scout Silver Award Project's Wreaths Across America Page. We are excited to partner with Woodlawn Cemetery for a third year. The group started as part of Sydney Wood's Girl Scout Gold Award Project and now that she has finished the project and graduated from High School, the Girl Scouts of Troop 10127 under the leadership of Nancy Fritcher have taken over. They will be working toward their Silver Award as part of the WAA mission statement. Sydney will remain as a consultant to the girls keeping the Girl Scout tradition alive as she is passing the torch on to the next generation of girls. Wreaths Across America will be donating 1 wreath for every 2 wreaths sponsored through the Salute to Fallen Veterans: A Girl Scout Project. That means more veterans will be honored this Christmas at Woodlawn through your generous support.
On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, NY0283 - Salute to Fallen Veterans: A Girl Scout Silver Award Project will be helping Woodlawn Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. If you would like to join us, please feel free to do so.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting the NY0283 - Salute to Fallen Veterans: A Girl Scout Silver Award Project and Wreaths Across America!
