Please click "View" to learn more about our effort or to volunteer to help or click "Sponsor" to purchase wreaths that will be laid on the graves of our fallen heroes by our loyal volunteers.On Saturday, October 8, 2022, The American Legion Post 86 held a Fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for the Post 86 "Wreaths Across America" Project. The project will provide a wreath for every Veterans Grave in the Gray Village Cemetery with a ceremony to be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The photo below shows the American Legion receiving a $5000.00 donation from Daniel Liberty Sr. on behalf of the Liberty Foundation. (From left to right in the photo is SAL Squadron Commander Vince Plummer, Mr. Daniel Liberty Sr. of the Liberty Foundation, Post 86 American Legion Commander Jeffrey Small, Post 86 2nd Vice Commander and Wreaths Across America Coordinator Charles Kupfer and Post 86 Adjutant Richard Flynn) Needless to say, this donation goes a long way toward our goal of providing over 600 Wreaths for placement in the Gray Village Cemetery.
