Our husband , dad, and grandfather was a true American hero! He served overseas more than 3 years and was wounded twice. He rarely talked about his experiences and continued to be amazed at the end of his life when so many people would say” thank you for your service”. We miss him so very much but are so grateful and blessed to be his family!
