Martin F. White born January 1, 1931 in Brooklyn NY. Marty’s mother was Mary (May) Early White his father Martin White died before he was born. When he was born the attending physician suggested that his Aunt Sarah call an undertaker, instead she bathed him every day in olive oil and he grew and thrived. Marty grew up in Brooklyn spending his summers in Smallwood NY. His first job was running a planer in the Monticello Lumber Company in Monticello NY. Growing up in Brooklyn he was a member of the Park Circle Roller Skating Rink winning a medal in the 1944 National Convention and U. S. Amateur Roller Skating Championships.  

Marty was inducted into the United States Army on January 4, 1952. Serving his country honorably and faithfully as a medical technician in the 121st Evacuation Hospital, Korea. After serving in Korea Marty enjoy a long, successful career as a steamfitter in Local 638 from 1950 until he retired in 1993 as a life time member.

Marty and I became a blended family in 2000, as of today we have 55 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with more to come. 

Karen E. (deceased) and Kenneth Larson, Martin F and Jeanne White, Dr. Dennis and Lisa White, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way. My family has embraced Marty with mutual love and respect. Robin, John, Charles, Lucille, Pauline, Tommy, Andrew and Jenn. The great-grandchildren always so excited when we visited greeting us with hugs and kisses especially Grandpa Marty.
