He was critically wounded in the head by rocket fire in combat and continued to try to tend to other soldiers in his unit until he passed out He was a combat medic in the 2nd of the 506th, Company D, 101st Airborne serving in Vietnam. I will love you until the day I die. Your loving wife for 36 beautiful years.
