He was critically wounded in the head by rocket fire in combat and continued to try to tend to other soldiers in his unit until he passed out He was a combat medic in the 2nd of the 506th, Company D, 101st Airborne serving in Vietnam. I will love you until the day I die. Your loving wife for 36 beautiful years. The wreath is in memory of my Uncle Harry who served in the Navy at Pearl Harbor during WWII. He and his brother, Taylor, were both there and were off their ship when the Japanese came calling. He was lucky enough to survive the war and lived until 1993 working as a professional fireman/chief for his career.
