Welcome to the Westfield Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. On December 17, 2022, the Quiet Corner Veterans Support Coalition answered the call with the help of our entire community to bring Wreaths Across America to Killingly. We are thankful for the Town of Killingly, all of our emergency services departments, the Danielson Elks BPOE 1706 and the Elks Riders of BPOE 1706 along with our local businesses and the wonderful folks who strive to help us honor the mission.  Killingly residents and the surrounding towns have worked diligently to raise awareness, provide sponsorships and volunteers to bring our mission to the community. In less than 2 months we were able to honor a little more than 360 veterans laid to rest on this sacred ground. Last year we more than doubled that number and in 2024 we are dedicated and determined to honor each and every veteran laid to rest here at Westfield Cemetery; both the Old and New sections. We will say their names so they are never forgotten. Please join us on this humbling and heartwarming mission.

On Saturday, December 14, 2024 after our opening ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery, our volunteers will head over to  Westfield Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
