Your service was the ultimate sacrifice. You spent most of your life in a Wheel chair and never complained. You were proud to serve your country like your dad

I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have served this great country, especially my uncles, Jerome F Dwyer Jr and Thomas J Putnoky Sr, both of who are lying in rest at Arlington National Cemetary.

To our wonderful parents! We had a great childhood moving around the country - enjoying the local life in each city. I still fly your Marine Corps flag!

My Don, the kindest, most loving man I have ever met! Proud of your military service in communications, having served in both WWII where you helped to liberate the people from Dachau, and Vietnam. You researched and published an amazing genealogy book of 21 generations of Spanglers! You will never be forgotten by your relatives, many friends and me! Margie Asper

Moses Gossett
Moses Gossett,
Grandpa Gossett, Your service will never be forgotten. You served and loved this country when it did not appreciate or recognize your sacrifice and service along with thousands of other black men and women. Your service inspired your children and grandchilden to serve this country in the Army, Navy, and Marine Corp during all major conflicts/wars that started with your service in World War I and continued with our family answering the call during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam Conflict, Gulf War, Iraq War, and Afghanistan War. Our family still serves today. I pray that your efforts will not have been in vain as the country descends down this dark and troubling path. God Bless and Thank you!

My grandfather, a man of myth and legend in my eyes, known only by the stories from family on the way he lived, and by what other have written about the way he died. In my darkest times I thought hard on what he would do, if in my place, and I always felt like that gave me strength. I feel honored to hold his name, and have passed it along as I will his story to my sons. In hope it will provide them the same strength in their darkest of hours. I am truly thankful for you grandpa.
