by Darcy M. for Alexander Lamoreux, Army, Honored by Richmond National Cemetery

I'm laying a wreath on the grave of my relative Alexander Lamoreux, who fought in the Battle of Gettysburg and was captured by the South, kept as a prisoner of war, and died at Belle Isle in Richmond, VA. He is buried at Richmond National Cemetery. I am thankful for his service and all American veterans.
