In Memoriam
by Susan P. for Walter Faber, Honored by U.S. Soldiers' & Airmen's Home National Cemetery
Sponsored for the WWII Flying Fortress Squadron veterans and their families who remember them proudly. We appreciate the example of the Greatest Generation who, in their very young adult years, gave service to stop terrifying events. Thanks to the 92nd Bombadier Squadron and their families for being exceptional fellows in service to each other, including through danger, injury and losses, and stoically humble about contributing to important victories. Thanks to the familial support of and memorializing of each other. Their legacy passed on is meaningful to all their heirs, and the world.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony and wreath laying:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath and only take two wreaths at a time to place on graves.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please return on January 10, 2026 at 8AM to help remove the wreaths.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
