At 10:00 AM, we invite you to join us in Remembering and Honoring 245 of our veterans laid to rest at Bedford Union Cemetery. Together, we will lay Remembrance wreaths on their graves and speak each of their names aloud as a heartfelt tribute to their service and sacrifice.

In memory of Staff Sargeant Charles G. Harlacher Sr. who flew 35 missions with the 390th Bomb Group during WW2 throughout Europe, including D Day and Operation Frantic, as part of the Allied support of Russia's fight against Nazi Germany.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We’re grateful for your willingness to help with our Wreaths Across America ceremony! Please don’t forget to register as a volunteer to receive important updates about the cemetery and event logistics.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • All ages and backgrounds are welcome – this is a community event for everyone.
  • Be on time! Ceremonies across the world will begin simultaneously.
  • Share the experience – ensure every participant has the chance to place a wreath.
  • Follow instructions from location coordinators on proper wreath placement.
  • Help with clean-up – we truly appreciate volunteers who can stay after the ceremony.
