Welcome to Stillwater, Oklahoma's Fairlawn Cemetery's "Wreaths Across America" Page.
On December 17, we will join over 3400 other groups across the U.S. to Remember and Honor every veteran at Fairlawn by laying Remembrance wreaths on EVERY grave of our country's heroes. EVERY veteran will be called by name and thanked for their service. We will not forget!
YOU are invited to join us to honor our veterans by sponsoring and helping us lay wreaths. Please arrive at 10:30 am for the 11 am "Remembrance Service," and then join dozens of volunteers laying wreaths and honoring our veterans, followed by our amazing light lunch for all. Active and retired veterans and their families are invited to wear their uniforms or other insignia of service. Entire families are encouraged to attend, especially those with children.

Directions to Cemetery
Stillwater's Fairlawn Cemetery is located at 1123 E 6th Street (Highway 51). The 11:00 am ceremony will be held where the cemetery office is located, and wreaths will be distributed from that area as well. Come,, join us!Parking Instructions
Please arrive around 10:30 am and follow directions for parking in the cemetery. Active and retired service members and their families are encouraged to wear uniforms or other insignia of service. You will enjoy the bagpipe prelude. The 30-minute Remembrance Service will start at 11 am and will include the presentation of Colors, the Ceremony of the Empty Chair, 4 musical selections, a brief summary of what Wreaths Across America is, and directions for wreath-laying. 200 chairs will be provided unless the ground is soft. Please follow directions that will be given for wreath-laying. The ceremony at each veteran's grave is to audibly and with dignity say the veteran's name and thank him/her for their service as you lay the wreath. Coffee, hot chocolate, and sweets and savories will be served at the Fairlawn office following the wreath-laying. We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Fairlawn Cemetery at Stillwater, Oklahoma! Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
