Welcome to the Elizabeth Crockett Chapter's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On Saturday, December 13, 2025 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), at 12:00 p.m., Elizabeth Crockett Chapter will be helping Acton Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Elizabeth Crockett Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution #6-189-TX is fundraising to support the Granbury High School JROTC.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Acton Cemetery is located at 3628 Fall Creek Highway, Granbury, Texas.  The Wreaths Across America ceremony is held at the site of the regal monument which marks the burial site of Davy Crockett's second wife, Elizabeth Patton Crockett.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at the 26-acre Acton Cemetery. 

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

The public, including adults and children alike, are invited to join us on Saturday, December 13, 2025, as we REMEMBER, HONOR AND TEACH during a brief ceremony held at Acton Cemetery.   Immediately following the ceremony, all those in attendance are welcome to honor a veteran by saying their name aloud and placing a wreath on each of the over 500 veterans' graves at Acton Cemetery.
