My Dad, Clarence Schkade, was in a tank division of the US Army and served in Germany. He also was an interpreter for prisoners. He also was honored with 3 bronze stars that he never collected. A very honorable person and loving father.

My father, Clarence A. Schkade, graduated high school in 1942 and joined the Army after graduation. He was an interpreter and also in a tank division. .He earned the rank of Mst. Sgt. He earned 3 bronze stars that we never knew about until after his death. Such an honorable man! With love your daughter Barbara and her family.
