WREATH RETIREMENT JANUARY 6, 2024 AT 8AM
Over 23,000 Veterans were remembered and honored with a Veterans Wreath on December 17, 2023.
Volunteers are needed to assist with Wreath Retirement at Sarasota National Cemetery. We will remove our Veterans Wreaths ONLY! Do not remove personal items from our heroes' monuments. Enter at the 2nd Entrance (East) and park at the Maintenance Building. Please wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes(grounds will be damp/wet), garden gloves, and bring a broom handle/PVC pipe/paint pole for carrying multiple wreaths at one time. No garden carts, tarps/sheets or ropes please. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!

Directions to Cemetery
I 75 to Exit #205 (Clark Road/State Rd 72). East on SR 72 4.7 miles to the Main Cemetery Entrance. You will need your PARKING PASS at check in.
Follow Local Law Enforcement, VA Police and Mission Army Staff instructions for entering and exiting the cemetery. ALL TRAFFIC is ONE WAY FLOW, exit out the East (Maintenance) Entrance.
Parking Instructions
There is limited parking available on cemetery grounds. Parking Passes will be a mandatory requirement this year and in future years.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
