Welcome to the NWCA Peninsula Norfolk 91's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December, 14, 2024. NWCA Peninsula Norfolk 91 will be helping Hampton National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

The Wreath Across America event at Hampton National Cemetery will take place on 12/14/24 on the Hampton University Side of Hampton National Cemetery. The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 pm. Please arrive no later than 11:45 am.
Below is the map of the parking lot and the directions to the location. A parking pass is not necessary for volunteers. There will be portable toilets available on the premises. There is absolutely no eating or drinking (except bottled water) on the premises. Please discard of all trash in the garbage receptacles.
The event will take place rain or shine. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Only handicapped and Distinguished Visitors are to enter through the Hampton University Guard Gate. Handicapped and elderly may only enter via the Guard Gate for drop off and will park at LOT 11.

Please follow these Driving Directions:
From I-64 East: Exit 267, Settlers Landing Rd & Hampton Univ.; four lane exit ramp - be in second lane from the left; through first traffic light, very short distance to second traffic light, turn left onto Emancipation Dr.
From I-64 West: Exit 267, Woodland Rd & Hampton Univ., at end of exit ramp, turn left at traffic light, go under I-64, turn left at traffic light, very short distance to second traffic light, turn left onto Emancipation Dr.
Parking Instructions
Please follow the following Parking Instructions:
Parking available at Hampton University in Lot 11 at Convocation Center (with blue roof).Do not park in any reserved parking spaces or anywhere else on the campus. Violators will be subject to towing.
Use sidewalk to proceed on Marshall Ave/ Cemetery Drive to Hampton VA National Cemetery.

**Please note: Volunteers will not be able to enter through the Hampton University Guard Gate.
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Hampton National Cemetery. All updates about the cemetery will be published on this website and on waahampton@gmail.com as an automated response.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
