On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, PA0156 - Hopewell United Methodist Church will be helping Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery located across the street from the church at 852 Hopewell Road, Downingtown, Pa. 19335. When you arrive, please park in the church parking lot and enter the sanctuary for our ceremony. Following the ceremony, volunteers may walk across the street to the cemetery for wreath laying or you may drive and park in the cemetery lot. Our volunteers will direct you safely to the cemetery.
Parking Instructions
There is plenty of parking at the church, so feel free to park in any available spot. Handicapped parking is also available and you will be able to drive or walk to the cemetery. Ushers will assist you in entering the sanctuary.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Hopewell United Methodist Church. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Our ceremony will begin at 11:00 am in the beautifully decorated sanctuary of Hopewell United Methodist Church with wreath laying to follow across the street in the cemetery.
- We are hopeful that our ceremony will be live streamed at www.hopewellumc.org
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath by participating with friends or as a family.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up. Our clean-up typically takes place in February, weather permitting. Email salammey@aol.com for a time and date for clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
