Welcome to the Weston Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 at 10:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony at Sonlight Church and Community Center), Wreaths Across America will be at Weston Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please join us for a Remembrance Ceremony at 10am at:

Upon conclusion of the ceremony, volunteers will follow a procession through the Village of Weston for the wreath laying ceremony at:

Directions to Cemetery

If you are attending the Ceremony at Sonlight Church and Community Center, a procession of volunteers will leave the church and make their way to the cemetery along Taylor Street, Main Street, and Center Street. The Village of Weston will have the American Flags and Service Banners along Main Street. Upon arriving to the cemetery, enter through either the north or south driveways off of Van Tassel Road and proceed to the Mound section. Our staging area for wreath disbursement will be there. 

If you are volunteering to lay wreaths, please plan on attending the Ceremony at Sonlight Church and Community Center as specific instructions for participating will be given.

Parking Instructions

Please enter the cemetery through the north and south drives off of Van Tassel Road (Center Street).

Staging area will be at the Mound Section in the center of the cemetery. Please full thru to exit thru the Euler Road entrance.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Weston Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
