On December 13, 2025, Lt. Colonel Philip Holt's group will be helping Mound City National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job of finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself. We have limited parking at the Mound City National Cemetery. We will be providing a shuttle from the parking lot of the old St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 517 Walnut, Mound City IL.

Parking Instructions

Parking is tight at The Mound City National Cemetery.  If possible please carpool to help with the parking situation and arrive early if you want to park at the Mound City National Cemetery.  We will be running a shuttle bus from the old St. Mary's Catholic Church parking lot located at 517 Walnut Street in Mound City just minutes away from the cemetery. Thank you.
