On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, NY0487P - Civil Air Patrol Utica Cadet Squadron NY-162 will be helping Rome Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Each Veterans Day, Companions of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) gather at the gravesite of General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing in Arlington National Cemetery for a longstanding memorial service in his honor.

Directions to Cemetery
Rome Cemetery is located on Jervis Ave. Parking is available along the cemetery roads until 11 am at which time parking is allowed along Golden Ave (directly across from the cemetery entrance). Car pooling is encouraged.
Parking Instructions
While parking is available along the cemetery roads, the entrance to the cemetery will be closed to parking at 11 am. Parking is also available along Golden Ave (directly across from the cemetery entrance).Ceremony and Volunteer Information
This year's ceremony will begin at Noon on December 13th. Volunteers are needed to stage the wreaths throughout the cemetery as well as place the wreaths on the veterans graves. If you would like to volunteer, please email Malinda at admin@romecemetery.org
