Wreaths Across America Presents Annual REMEMBER Award to Robert “Bob” Freeman of North Carolina
On Monday, June 23, national nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) recognized Robert “Bob” Freeman of Gastonia, North Carolina, as the ninth recipient of the organization’s REMEMBER Award. This award is given annually to an individual or group who Remembers the fallen and their sacrifice in a way that goes above and beyond.

Parking Instructions
You will be greeted at the gates of the cemetery. Please park your vehicles to the west and south of Soldier's Field, the ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at the Bell Tower in the center of the cemetery.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are honored that you chose to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Linn Grove Cemetery.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the instructions after the ceremony on how and where to place wreaths.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. If you could break down the cardboard cases the wreaths are stored in and stack them so we can pick them up after the ceremony.
- The most important thing to remember is we are here to Honor and Remember our Hometown Heros and also to Teach our next generation the meaning of their sacrifices.
