Welcome to the Wood National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

All sponsored wreaths in 2020 will be placed throughout the day on December 16th-18th by volunteers. To join us in laying veteran wreaths, please sign up for a specific time slot by clicking the red Volunteer button. If you have questions, please contact the volunteer Location Coordinator at ltc.julie.anne@gmail.com Please note, masks, gloves and social distancing is required.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button.

Directions to Cemetery

Due to COVID concerns, the Veterans Administration (VA) and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has determined there will be no formal public ceremony at Wood National Cemetery this year. However, ceremonial wreaths will be set up at the usual ceremony location (Walker Road & Juneau Ave) for drive by viewing starting Saturday 19 December. If you choose to be on the VA cemetery grounds please obey all social and physical distancing guidelines and do not congregate in mass on the Federal VA grounds.

At the request of VA, donated wreaths will be placed over the course of 3 days (as needed) Wednesday 16 December to Friday 18 December, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a maximum of 10 general public volunteers in 1.5-hour blocks. To be one of those volunteers please go to Wreaths Across America website (www.wreathsacrossamerica.org) follow the volunteer links.

Please note you are asked to wear a mask / face covering, obey all social and physical distancing guidelines, and to not congregate in mass on the Federal VA grounds
