On December 13, 2025 at 11:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow directions of the volunteers for parking and to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking Instructions
There is parking at this cemetery, feel free to park along the roads.
NOTE: Parking in front ot Flag Plaza is intended for Ceremonial Wreath participants on this day only.
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to take part and help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at The Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove Wisconsin. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the 11:00 AM ceremony to allow for parking along the roads.
- Dress for our Wisconsin weather and bundle up buttercups!
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please follow the Location Coordinators instructions on protocol as to when and where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- No wreaths are to be placed until the completion of the Ceremony!
- Distribution of wreaths will be done as quickly as possible by our volunteer teams to help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreaths.
Here are some things to remember about wreath retrieval: (Wreaths are typically picked up 30 days after placement)
- We especially appreciate our volunteers willing to help clean-up. Our dedicated veteran volunteers started out this year and worked tirelesssly as did many others and all the wreaths were picked up in record time.
- Tentatively we are planning to pick wreaths up from January 19-25, 2025. Times at the cemetery are sunrise to sunset. Wreaths can be picked up and placed in piles by the curbs. You are welcome to bring family, friends, and groups.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
