Welcome to the West Virginia National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at West Virginia National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.
Please note, parking is going to be different this year. Please bear with us as we try something new to help with parking. Anyone who is handicapped, a veteran, or is a part of the ceremony event will be allowed to park at the cemetery. All other groups and volunteers will be advised to park at either Taylor County Middle School or Grafton High School. Busses will be available starting at 11 AM and will run continuously to the cemetery and will bring you back to your vehicles once the event is over. Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking Instructions
Please note, parking is going to be different this year. Please bear with us as we try something new to help with parking. Anyone who is handicapped, a veteran, or is a part of the ceremony event will be allowed to park at the cemetery. All other groups and volunteers will be advised to park at either Taylor County Middle School or Grafton High School. We must leave the West Virginia National Cemetery open so other visitors and employees can move about the site. Thank you so much for your understanding.
