Welcome to the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On Sunday, December 14, 2025 beginning at 11:00 P.M., veterans in this cemetery will be honored. First during the church service and the immediately following the service by the laying of wreaths at their graves.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

MISSION BBQ Customers Donate $352,930 to Sponsor Veterans’ Wreaths for 2025

142 participating locations will receive veterans’ wreaths because of the generous donations in the communities where MISSION BBQ customers support the mission.

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Wreaths Across America remembers the 63nd anniversary of the Disappearance of Flying Tiger Line Flight 739. Join us for a special event at 2 p.m. on our official Facebook page and over Wreaths Across America Radio.

Sylvanus Jasper Knight - Private - Co. B, 59th Regiment, GA Infantry - Confederate States of America - November 18, 1842 - July 1, 1917 - Enlisted as a Private in Co. A, 2nd Regiment, 1st GA Brigade, GA State Troops on October 12, 1861. He mustered out in 1862 and enlisted as a private in Co. B, 59th Regiment, GA Infantry, May 8, 1862. He was wounded in his right thigh and permanently disabled - Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Tennille, GA

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are interested in helping with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Please click on the volunteer button on our Overview page to register. That way you will be able to get updated information.

Here are some things to remember about our ceremony:

Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.

Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.

Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.

We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for your help to achieve our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.
