On December 14, 2024 at 09:00 am, NV0132 - Battle Born Republican Women will be helping Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

My father, John Skandros, may his memory be eternal. A true member of the "Greatest Generation". He served as an E8 in the US Army during World War II. He loved his country, faith and family beyond measure.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.  Parking is limited inside the cemetery.  Larger trucks and buses will need to park outside of the Cemetery on Commons Way or Buchanan Blvd.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Please remember the ceremony and placing of wreaths is to honor our fallen heroes.  Parking is limited inside the cemetery. Larger trucks and buses will need to park outside of the cemetery on Commons Way or Buchanan Blvd. Placement of wreaths will start after the ceremony at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 16th.
