Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself. Address is 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury NC 28144. I would recommend you can enter the VA complex front drive from Brenner Avenue and travel around the Hospital to a parking lot adjacent to the Cemetery and using the paved footpath from this lot to the Flagpole area of the Cemetery by the Committal shelter where the Ceremony is held.
Parking Instructions
There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot. The roadway from Statesville Blvd fills up early so any volunteers or participants are encouraged to arrive early if you plan on parking on the roadway. I strongly suggest arrival before 11:00 am or using the VA Hospital front entrance off Brenner Ave. and traversing around the Hospital buildings to the left and around to the State Veterans Nursing home to enter the parking lot by the heli-pad that is connected to the Cemetery by a paved footpath. This short path directly enters the Cemetery at the flagpole by the committal shelter where the Ceremony is held.
