REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the AAHCC's Wreaths Across America page for Greenwood and Evergreen Cemeteries.
On Saturday, December 13th the African American Heritage and Culture Center (AAHCC) will be at Greenwood Cemetery and Evergreen Cemetery to remember and honor our African American veterans, by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
The ceremony in Greenwood will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by the ceremony in Evergreen at 2:00pm. Following each ceremony, wreaths will be placed on each veteran grave site.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, and inviting your family, youth, and friends to attend with you. We also encourage youth groups to volunteer as well.
Thank you so much for supporting Greenwood and Evergreen Cemeteries.
