Welcome to the Fort Bliss National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 14, 2024 (Wreath Placement 8:00 AM CST) at 10 am MST, Wreaths Across America will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Some wreaths will be placed before the ceremony at 10am and the remaining wreaths will be placed after ceremony. The ceremony will be shared on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/wreathsinelpaso
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

In Memory Of for William H. Paul, United States Military, Born 04/03/39, Passed On 05/13/09, Honored by Fort Bliss National Cemetery
William H. Paul (Bill)served honorably in the US Navy for 22 years, including three tours in Vietnam as a Weapons Officer, retiring from active duty in 1977 as a Master Chief. A resident of Las Cruces, NM since 1960, he worked in various technical professions until his retirement from White Sands Missile Range in 2001. He is survived by his wife Josi and their 7 sons, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Uncle Stan was the oldest of 5 children, the first of 4 boys to enlist. He had a penchant for languages and made friends wherever he went.

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs for parking and to the site of the ceremony itself. Fort Bliss National Cemetery is located at 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd, El Paso TX 79906

Please follow directions to park as the traffic direction may be different for this event. There is also parking available across the street.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
Volunteers should arrive between 7-730am MST. Wreath placement will begin at 8am with the ceremony to follow at 10am.
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
